Altered Vintage Chest

So me and my fiance had went to a few garage sales and I came across this box.

If you cant tell from the photos *IT WAS IN ROUGH SHAPE* but I knew it had some serious potential. Not only was there potential, but how can I turn it down for 25 cents!!! Seriously this chest was marked for 25 cents because it was falling apart and looked awful. So I had some ideas in my head on what I wanted to do...
I started by ripping off all of that yucky paper (that I could anyway) then painted it with white acylic paint. It really took about 3 bottles to cover the entire box.. I cant even remember how many coats I used. I then mod podged all of my paper on there. I used webster pages 12 x 12 paper but, (I cant remember what one)
I then used Vintage photo crackle paint and went along all of the edges of paper heated it and then went over with yet more Mod Podge. I put 2 different trims around the edge of the chest along with some cream flat back pearls.  Then was the fun part of decorating. I used http://www.wildorchidcraft.com/ flowers, recollection bling, along with the tim holts bird die, prima flowers, leaves, and chipboard florishes.
I am super happy on how it came out! Here is the after of all of this fun....

Thanks for looking!! ENJOY!
