Spotted Canary School Sign.

I have finally finished my Spotted Canary School sign to display in Jo-ann Fabrics for my Scrapbooking Classes. I loved the way it came out. I also needed a sample scrapbook page for the display board so I had decided to make one of my little Chloe. The board is made of a large canvas. I used Mod Podge to glue down that papers.

Tell me what you ladies think. Hopefully it will catch enough attention haning up in Joanns.

Just finished up my Scrapbook Design & You® (SDU) program!!!

I am NOW afficially a SDU Instructor. I am super excited to have finished the class so I can now start teaching the Scrapbook Design & You® (SDU) program at the Joann Fabrics here in eau claire, wi.

This SDU course is a series of 4 classes that will be taught in a four week time period. Upon completion of the program, you will receive a personalized SDU graduation certificate. My first class is scheduled for July, 7 2011 from 6-8 and will continue each thrusday until July, 28 2011. The class for all 4 weeks is $45. A little more about the class.....

Scrapbook Design & You® teaches beginner through advanced scrapbookers the essential scrapbook theories and principles of design. SDU will dramatically enhance the skills of any scrapbooker to create dynamic scrapbook pages. Program graduates will be able to fully embrace the value and message of our slogan for SDU: Theory-Technique-Foundation-Success™!

In each class, you will focus on specific theory and techniques of scrapbook design. You will need to bring along some materials and tools to class with you, as you will have the opportunity to work hands on with your instructor to create scrapbook pages that are unique to you. By the time you have completed the entire course you will be well versed in how to develop strong layout designs. Mini album Demo TOMORROW!

As posted before I am doing a demo at the open house at the Joanns craft store in Eau claire, Wi. If you would like to stop by to make one feel free. Like I said before we will be making a 3x3 mini album (I will be supplying the stuff to make it) and YES it will be FREE. I was trying my hardest to think of ways to promote my classes so here it is. These will be the little SUPER mini albums that I will be teaching to make. (embellishements will not be included)
You will have choice of papers, covers and ribbon.

I GOT THE JOB!!!

I have to say this has been the MOST Amazing day ever! Not only did I get an amazing package from Theresa, but I recieved a call from my local JOANNS!! I had an interview a few weeks ago to be a craft teacher, and demonstrator and recieved a call that I HAD GOTTEN THE JOB!!

I will be teaching scrapbooking, kids crafts and more! After 3 months of following their class guidelines I will be able to create my own classes teaching my own techniques, crafts and more!! I am so excited and this is going to be so much fun!!! I scheduled my first class today we planned for a starting date in July but I think I might add some sooner classes for the store. From what we discussed I will be starting at the minimum of starting 3 classes a month which is great!! I am so EXCITED!

I will also get a discount through the store..... (not good for me) lol... But hey!! cheaper stuff for me... lol
